CRITICAL INFO

PARKING & LOGISTICS

There is ample parking on site! If you have VIP parking you can park anywhere sensibly. If you don't have VIP parking, please park in the General Parking Zone. There will be no shuttles or car service provided. DON'T DRIVE DRUNK. Uber may be available but we're not sure how well it will work.

CHECK IN AND ARRIVAL

There will be a SELF-SERVE Arrival Table near the Mess Hall when you arrive. Please NEVER BLOCK DRIVEWAY AT HWY-49. Please enter through the gate and keep traffic flowing. Follow signs up the hill to the Arrival Table where you can cross your Party off on the guest list and obtain your Camp Mug and Program! From there, use the Program and follow signs to get situated and find parking or camping. RIG Camping is limited and is only by RSVP! If you did not RSVP for Rig Camping please do not camp in RIG Camping zones!

CAMPING

Come prepared with proper gear and attire for the weekend. We will be in the mountains so make sure to bring warm layers! As well as a bathing suit for the pool!

There are showers on site for guests to use!

There are spots available for tent and car camping that will be first come first serve,

OR there are cabin bunks available to reserve. The cabins are pretty rustic but will be fun!

Let us know if you would like to reserve a bunk bed in one of the cabins! And/or if you wanna go in on one with a group of other humans you want to slumber party with! You can text Stevee or Bri directly to confirm.

Weather Conditions

May is typically a dry month in the foothills. It is unlikely (god willing) that there will be rain or snow. BUT not impossible. Average temperatures for the area are 50-80 degrees during the day and as low as 35 at night. Please make sure to bring everything you need to be comfortable in case it is hot or cold: rain jacket, blankets, and jackets, or less clothing options- as we will be spending the majority of our time outside. And be sure to check the weather for Ahwahnee, CA as we get closer!

Camp Rules

Camp Krem is a nonprofit camp for kids with disabilities. The weekend after our wedding will be Camp Krem’s open house for parents to come check out camp. It’s important we leave it beautiful for them so they get campers this year!

NO FIRES OF ANY KIND! There will be a designated area for cooking food if using a camping stove. It is okay to cook inside a contained area such as a camper van. Our beloved Camp Krem Boulder Creek burnt down in 2020, which is why they were able to buy this location in Yosemite. Out of respect for their traumatic experience please honor this rule. No Jet Boils, stoves, or fires of any kind at your campsite.

There are butt buckets located around camp for you butts, do not leave any butts of any kind on the ground, otherwise WE will be picking them up after you, so please don’t do that to us!

LEAVE NO TRACE, lets leave camp better than we found it!

FOOD

We will provide food and beverages SATURDAY EVENING AND LIGHT SUNDAY BRUNCH ONLY. Friday night will be a potluck dinner by the Amphitheater if you'd like to participate. Please make sure you bring enough food for the rest of the weekend AND if you would like to throw something on the grill for Sunday afternoon BBQ!

We might be doing something simple for Sunday morning as well - such as coffee and pancakes. TBD.

There are also restaurants 15 minutes away in Oakhurst for those staying in hotels.

POOL

The pool will open throughout the weekend but there must be a lifeguard on duty any time someone is in the pool area! We have a handful of children attending - parents do not count as lifeguards. If you are a parent that is also a certified lifeguard please send us your info prior to the event. IF THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD AT THE POOL THEN THE POOL IS CLOSED

NO DOGGOS

We love our furry four legged guys so much! But it will be too much to have a pack of dogs leaving us presents all over for us to clean up after, as well as the risk of doggos jumping on folks lovely outfits (and Bri’s dress!) on Saturday. For this reason there are no dogs at camp! If for some reason you must, you must reach out in advance. In the case you bring your dog without communication you will be asked to leave them in the car for the weekend, which is really sad.

ATTIRE

Friday evening - please come in all white to the music portion of the evening!

Ceremony - please come in a monochrome color of your choice! This does not include belts and/or shoes. We are excited to see what you all wear!

GIT YER PORTRAITS

We are super stoked to have North Coast Tin Types for the weekend! Annie will be set up and offering tintype photos for our guests on Friday and Saturday. Tintypes are photographs taken on metal sheets and will be developed and processed on site for guests to take home. If you would like to purchase one they will be $70 and you will be able to take it home with you! You wont regret it!!

IF YOU HAVE KIDS

Please bring a booster seat for dinner if your sweet babe needs one :)

Warmly,

Bri and Stevee
